Job Vacancy - Code Development Manager - Harness 06 / 07 / 2010

Tasracing are seeking a Code Development Manager - Harness, to facilitate relationships and provide strategic direction to the Harness racing code function in the business.  Tasracing is the peak advocacy body representing racing across all three codes, our focus is to ultimately see the development of new racing products with greater appeal to local, national and international stakeholders. 

As the Code Development Manager you will be responsible for:

• Representing the interests of Tasracing
• Building and maintaining relationships with the Harness Racing Industry Code
• Developing policies and strategies that support the efficient and profitable functioning of the Code activities
• Developing, maintaining and managing stakeholder relationships to effectively communicate and implement Tasracing's business strategy

To excel in this role you have

• Experience in planning and business development analysis within a commercial/racing environment
• Strong financial analytical experience
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the racing and wagering industry
• Current knowledge of the Rules of Racing
• Highly develop communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent computer skills
