Racing Information Services Australia (RISA) has made available to Trainers, StableAssist the internet version of the industry call centre known as the RISA Service Centre (RISA SC).
StableAssist is a convenient on-line race entry system designed to enable trainers to lodge and process all nominations, acceptances, gear changes and stable returns, plus access industry news, receive reminders, compile race searches and check gear and stable return details.

Rating Based Programming
The Tasmanian Thoroughbred Racing Council (TTRC) today announced the introduction of a 6 month Rating Based Programming trial to commence 1 October 2007.

Handicapping Information
Ratings Based Handicapping
The Tasmanian Thoroughbred Racing Council (TTRC) has introduced Ratings Based Handicapping (RBH) for all Handicap races in Tasmania.
The RBH policy applies to all handicap races in Tasmania from 1st August 2005, except the Hobart & Launceston Cups and some otherwise specified 2YO and 3YO set-weight races.
