August Barrier Trial Dates
There have been some amendments to the Barrier Trial schedule for August.
Longford Barrier Trials commence on Tuesdays at 10.30 am.
Elwick Barrier Trials are now on Wednesdays, commencing at 10.00 am.
The new trial schedule is detailed below:
Tue 10 August - Longford - commencing at 10.30 am (noms close noon Fri 6 August)
Wed 11 August - Elwick - commencing at 10.00 am (noms close noon Mon 9 August)
Tue 24 August - Longford - commencing at 10.30 am (noms close noon Fri 20 August)
Wed 25 August - Elwick - commencing at 10.00 am (noms close noon Mon 23 August)

Ratings Based Handicapping
The Ratings Based Handicapping policy applies to all handicap races in Tasmania from 1st August 2005, except the Hobart & Launceston Cups and some otherwise specified 2YO and 3YO set-weight races.

Racing Information Services Australia (RISA) has made available to Trainers, StableAssist the internet version of the industry call centre known as the RISA Service Centre (RISA SC).
StableAssist is a convenient on-line race entry system designed to enable trainers to lodge and process all nominations, acceptances, gear changes and stable returns, plus access industry news, receive reminders, compile race searches and check gear and stable return details.

All Tasmanian nominations, acceptances, scratchings and stable returns are to be processed through the RISA Service Centre or by way of the internet at www.risa.com.au.
